WHAT SHOULD I DO? -OK
So now I don’t know what to do about HERBALIFE. According to your notes I think I should quit while I’m ahead but I am very disappointed. I am very discouraged. It seemd like a very organized and well run compnay. There is certainly a lot of support. They do keep asking for me to invest money. I was suppose to order products but I haven’t. Should I stop here? Someone suggested AVON. Where would I sell the products? Not to my friends that’s for sure. It’s also such an OLD company.
I think I will hold off doing anymore with HERBALIFE till I hear from all of you again.
I was home all day. I didn’t take a shower. I didn’t get dressed. I had two naps. I think I will go sit the couch and maybe have another nap.
Tomorrow I am going to try to get in touch with a doctor to get the shingles vaccine. I have heard more and more people getting shingles and it is very very painful. I don’t want it!
In the morning we have a condo meeting. In the afternoon I am going to play MAH JONGG with hubby’s family. If they are six I am not going to keep going as I don’t like to sit around.
I also have to go to the post office and to the butcher. I must buy meat for Friday. Hubby wants me to make a traditional supper for his family so of course I will.
Time to relax.
Isn’t herblelife one of those perymid companies? I would be quitting and going to AVON…..you can network at craigs list and at places like tagged.com But Avon has much better products and people do very well….

I feel caution should be applied to most home-selling ideas for now and focus on your creative stuff. That is something you should be able to sell without any difficulties and you don’t have to pay someone else heaps of money to do it. Avon have a good name but not everyone likes their products ( me for one)…also they test on animals. Good luck whatever you decide. hugs P

I didn’t know there was a vaccine for shingles. I’ll have to think about getting it because I’ve had chicken pox and I get cold sores.

I think it’s one of those ‘too good to be true’ things. I wasn’t impressed that the website didn’t have any information on its page. You have to sign up to find out what the scheme is. Celebs like Dr Laura get paid to endorse this website and that sort of makes me wonder about her credibility. ryn: Grande Prairie, Alberta

Yes, I have heard of the Shingles vacine and it probably is a good idea!!!! I hope your Mah Jongg is fun!! I knew a lady whom sold HerbalLife. She kept trying to get me to sign up. Those things are not for me, I mean those kinds of business ventures. But, I don’t think you should have to invest in their company, in order to sell the products, etc. I agree, I would probably quit asap!!!! BigHugzz..

There is a link called http://ripoffreports.com that is good for getting reports on businesses that are offering at home work programs. If someone has found them to be a scam or a rip off they are usually listed there. Really good site to check things out on. Just about anything or any product is listed that people have had problems with.

I have heard that *sometimes* they will return funds to clear their name from the ripoffreports list if you approach them in a civilized manner after you have lodged a complaint. They do get to state their side of things on the site as well in a rebuttal. So may or may not work for you. See what they offer you to stay or to leave on good terms first.

I’m glad there is a vaccine for shingles. And I definitely think you should NOT stay with Herbalife. Selling Avon doesn’t sound like your cuppa tea either. Why don’t you see about a part-time job, or volunteer work at a school or nursing home or some kind of social work organization? Those all DEFINITELY sound like your thing! And you would be so good at them! hugs, Weesprite

I would say I trust Avon more than Herbalife, but that is just me. I use some Avon but am allergic to most makeups so do not use much besides the creams and lotions. Makeup always gives me hives. I love Skin so soft oil. It actually does help keep bugs off animals and it is natural. I sprayed a fly and it died. I know ranchers who use it for their cattle and horses. I use that and have not had a mosquito bite in several years since I have been using that. I am not sure about the shingles vaccine. Will need to do more research on that. Love,

There are a lot of companies out there for home based businesses, Herbalife is one of many. I think there is a website that has 1000s of home based businesses you can try, google home based businesses and see what comes up. I would avoid Herbalife, they are way too pushy.
