VERY TIRED -OK

 I just came home from Plattsburgh, New York. It’s almost two o’clock a.m. I had a great day shopping, eating and chatting with my friend. We went to KMART, TARGET, WALMART, BORDERS, VERMONT TOY AND HOBBY ETC. My friend treated me to a delicious supper at Butcher Block. I had a yummy steak and fries.
Most of the stuff I bought is for my grandchildren’s Hanukah presents. At Target we bought Halloween candy for nothing. A large bag of candy was 62. If you live near Target and want candy go there now. It is a real super duper bargain. Normally I wouldn’t buy it but my friend was so I did too. I am not even sure what I will do with it.
I bought a few wonderful books for my grandchildren. I bought one book for myself at Borders. The author is a woman who was sitting there selling her book. It was about a year of her life in Plattsburgh, NY. She was alone in the country on a mountain with two children. Her husband was off in the military. She encouraged me to write the book I always wanted to.
I bought a cheap tape recorder so will try to tape a story for my grandson before I leave for Florida. I bought a few more PUFFLES.
I bought some hand lotion – Gold Bond etc. I also got a few small sizes good for my purse.
I think those were my major purchases.
On the way home I was speeding and got pulled over. I can’t imagine why there was a cop on a country road in the middle of the night. Anyways I got away very lucky – just a small ticket about thirty dollars and I didn’t lose any points. I wonder if I should have given him some money.
My friend is a chatterbox. I didn’t mind so much until we were driving home and I was too tired to carry on a conversation. I know she felt bad but what could I do. I was TIRED and I had to concentrate on the road. Oh well. I’m sure she will forgive me.
I better get to bed. I’m exhausted.
