ONE MORE WEEK – OK

My hubby is leaving for Florida next Saturday. It’s hard to believe. Life just runs away so fast especially as we get older.
Last night we went out for supper with friends so he could say goodbye. I remember doing the same last year! Some of the couples will be coming to Florida eventually but not everyone. We went to an Italian restaurant. I ordered veal parmigian. It wasn’t that great so didn’t eat much. Thank goodness for the bread and butter which I love and always eat too much of. Hubby has started to pack in earnest and packed two large valises yesterday.
Our weather is miserable. Dull and rainy so I’m sure he is anxious to get on the road. He has laryngitis. Where does it ever come from?
I went for lunch with a friend yesterday. We went to a new restaurant. The food was served cold. We didn’t bother sending it back. We had a talk. She is 80!!!!!! I tried to tell her that I would be around if she ever needed help. She does have a husband but she worries about what would happen to her son if she got sick in the middle of the night. I told her she could call us. Our minds can make us crazy!!!!
I am still debating about whether or not I should go to the gyno. I haven’t seen blood for awhile so pretty sure it was just from an irritation. Since I am still nervous about discoverning blood when I go the bathroom I think I’ll make an appointment Monday.
I sold my CRICUT using Craig’s list for 100 to a woman who lives not far away. She is suppose to come for it on Wednesday. I am anxious to get the money which I can always use. I listed a SPINOZA teddy bear that I have but so far no bites. I might list some records when I have time.
Tomorrow we are going to my son’s girlfriends parents for brunch. We’ll see the kids and hubby will say goodbye. I don’t think he’ll see them another day.
My front tires on my car were very flat last week. I made an appointment for Friday. I wanted to take it when hubby was here so he could give me a lift there and back. I had to go Thursday for the tires to be filled with air. If my tires go flat again I may go to a different garage because the one I go to couldn’t give me an appointment until next Friday.
Slowly I am planning what I will be doing while my hubby is gone. I have to go to the eye doctor and dentist. I’ll continue with my stained glass. I must get my haircut. Of course I’ll have to start packing. I will probably take my grandchildren once each. I have to shop for Hanukah presents for everyone. I may do it in the States as I am planning to go with a friend one day. I am planning how to say, "I’m sorry but I’m busy because I don’t want to be running out all the time. People know I’m alone so know I’m available.
So I guess that’s about it. Not much else doing. I haven’t been reading too many entries. Don’t ask me why. Guess I just don’t have the patience to sit here for a long period of time. I am up in the middle of the night but will go back to bed very soon.
