IT’S OVER -OK

Yom Kippur is over for another year. I can’t say I’m sorry……………………………………..the fast was easy. I guess it is since I’ve been doing it for soooooooooooooooo long.
We went to shul in the morning. The walk which is about a half hour is much easier since I have been going on the treadmill a few times a week. The kids came about an hour after and stayed for about an hour.
Hubby and I walked home around 2:30. I found it harder to walk back since we took a LONG cut. I had a nap and then we waited until 7:30 so we could have supper. We could have gone to friends but decided to eat at home in peace and quiet. Now I wonder if it was a mistake since my sons broke the fast alone. I knew the children would have to go to bed about seven thirty so decided not to go to my sons. Now I think maybe we should have gone for my son’s sake. Can’t do nothing now so will have to be smarter next year.
Tonight I made two more scrapbook pages for my daughter.
Tonight I worked on egg shells which I have to mail this week. It will be part of an art project which will raise money for a family in need.
Tomorrow the cleaning lady is coming. I have to make a food order. At night we are playing bridge here.
Wednesday I have my stained glass class. I can’t wait. I will finish the froggie I’m doing. Not sure what we’ll do next. In the afternoon I’ll pick up my grandson.
Thursday I will meet with my DIL to discuss the senior home. Then I’ll pick up my other grandson.
Friday morning we go to the doctor for results of our blood tests.
Nothing planned so far for the weekend.
BEDTIME!

certainly sounds like you were very busy. i remember when my daughter had a cleaning lady.. she would clean before the cleaning lady got there!! i never understood that! take care,

RYN, you said you are like my mother. If so, then you are living for everyone else, instead of living for yourself. These things might help, not sure, Remember that your children are grown and need to make their own decisions, when they want to. And you remember that you love them, even when they choose to make their own decisions. When you give advice, realize thatthey might not take it but that doesn’t mean that they do not love yo, and it doesn’t mean that they do not value your advice, it just means they want to make their own mistakes and learn from them. that’ just my opinion… no offense, those were my thoughts when I read your note. peace.

You have reached an age where you should do things for yourself, enjoy your life. The fast that is yours isyours. Your son’s fast is his fast. Everyone handles a fast differently, and only the individualcan handle their own fast. tha’ts just one opinion. peace

You have been having a busy time…which is good, that way you will not get bored. I have tried to note to you several times, but I only get on the computer for a couple of hours so I pick a couple of my favs and note them so they know I have not forgotten them, enjoy your period of rest now….huggs

You have a fun and busy life! Enjoy your stained glass class and the grandkids!

Glad you had a good day! ryn: $10 is not a bad tip, people forget that the tip is based on percentage just like in a restaurant, so if the massage is $60 for example, 15% would be $9.00 which is a fair tip for a good service and $12 for a great service (20%) so it is based on the price of the massage and quality of the service. So you are right in line.
