THE FUNERAL – OK
This afternoon we went to a funeral. There were hundreds of people there. Most were young adults. The girl who died was only 18. It was extremely sad. Can you imagine losing a child or grandchild at such a young age.
In the morning hubby and I went for a hearing test. My hearing is worse than his and it explains why I can’t understand my grandson when he talks from the back seat. I will make an appointment with an ear, nose and throat doctor but I don’t think I will get a hearing aid until I return from Florida. I couldn’t believe how expensive they are.
This afternoon I had a nap. Just a few minutes ago I finished 45 minutes on the treadmill. I have lasagna warming up in the oven. I am going to take a bath and we’ll eat when I come out.
Not much doing tonight so I’m happy. Time to work on crafts and relax.
So sad going to a funeral for one so young, my heart goes out to you & the girl’s family.

18 years old! That is sad on so many levels. No I can’t imagine losing a child or grandchild. Sorry you have hearing trouble. My dad does too but refuses to get a hearing aid because they’re so expensive. It makes him angry that they cost so much. I have no idea – how much are they?
