THE LAST FEW DAYS – OK
On Thursday I had a delightful day with my grandson. In the morning we started off by playing at the Club penguin website. I joined and he helped me learn the game. Then we decided to go bowling. On the way there I asked him if he wanted to go visit my son at work. He wanted to so I started to head in that direction. There were so many detours that I just had to give up!!!!!! Then we turned around on the same street and headed for the bowling alley. More detours.!!!!! It was so frustrating. I discusssed the situation with him. We decided to go back to his house to get his bathing suit and head to the bowling alley in town. I explained to him that I didn’t know the area he lived in very well and we would be better off near my house because I know my way around. We went to his house. We played Club Penguin for awhile and then we went bowling. Then we played some video games. Lunch at McDonald’s was next. We decided to go swimming but when we got there the pool was closed for repairs. So we headed to an outdoor. It was a cool day so noone was there. My grandson went in for awhile and then we played around for awhile. I was too chicken to go in. Then I was going to take him to TOYS R US but he didn’t guess where I wanted to take him so instead we went for donuts and headed home to play Club Penguin again.
I stuck around until his mother came home. They wanted me to stay for supper but I had some shopping I wanted to do. I went to the health food store and to the book store. We don’t have a health food store near me.
I called a friend and met her at Fabricville. We bought some muroon colored fabric o make the memory blanket. then we had supper and I went home.
On Friday I did the treadmill for 45 minutes. I did some shopping and went to the country. On the way there I had a great idea. I decided that I would have my three grandchildren over for a sleepover party before I left for Florida. I kept thinking of different activities we could do. Anybody have any ideas?????
I arrived at the country. I unpacked and made supper. We played Canasta and I won two out of three games. YEAH ME!!!!
Saturday was a miserable day here. I went shopping. I went to Staples and bought some transfer paper for the memory blankets. I bought it for dark paper and I need for light so I’ll have to go back. Then I went to Michaels and bought a scrapbook for my daughter. I had a forty percent coupon off one item.
I went to Walmart and bought some food. I went to Sams and met friends so had lunch with them.
I went to Borders. I went in with a shopping cart so I chose lots of books and magazines. I sat down with a cup of coffee and looked through everything. I read my book for awhile. I chose a few books, paid and left for Price Chopper.
I came home. We had a light supper and then friends came over to play Canasta. Again the team I was on won two out of three games.
Went to bed about twelve.
Today we have nothing scheduled. I will work on my eggs and go home about four.
Have a good one.
Help. Hope you and your readers come to my diaryto help me NAME those last two entries of mine. There is a true story there, a wonderful story. Help name the story?

Would your grandchildren enjoy making paper mache? My mom used to do that….you rip newspaper into strips and mix it with flour and water and let it sit for a day or so. She used a bucket…. Then it can be molded into shapes and left to dry… That might be fun for everyone! ~M
