PARENTING AIN’T EASY – OK – edited

On Thursday I picked up my grandson and took him horseback riding. He wasn’t in the mood at all. I think he was just TOO tired after a whole day at camp. I don’t know if and when I’ll take him back again. There was a different teacher. He was a man who maybe knew nothing about children. My grandson told me after the lesson that the lesson was too complicated. He also said that he had a headache! When I saw that he wasn’t enjoying it I stopped the lesson about twenty minutes before the end. This little boy has trouble concentrating. In school he doesn’t do very well. He prefers to be active! I wonder if he should be sent to a different type of school – somewhere where he wouldn’t have to sit still all day at a desk. After the lesson I took him to BULK BARN. Everything is sold in bulk. He bought some treats. I bought some nuts and oatmeal. OY! I just checked. I forgot the oatmeal. Then we went to Mcdonald’s for supper. I am so tired of that place. In the end we went to see my other grandson play baseball. It was very pleasant. He was there with his mother, her lover and his Nana. It is so exciting since they are planning to have a baby together!!!!!!!!! My son came with my grandaughter. My ex was very good with the my other two grandchildren. She is so different with me than with my son. I’m happy my son showed up even though I am sure he was uncomfortable.
I roasted the brisket I bought at a KOSHER butcher. That is why it was so expensive. Anyways I didn’t like the way it turned out so I am roasting it for a few more hours. I use to make such a delicious brisket. Now I usually put in too much liquid so it turns out boiled rather than roasted. I sure hope more cooking will make it better.
My son’s girlfriend was so upset yesterday. Apparently her son got on the bus after camp. He must have heard her talking to a friend about going to their pool after camp so went on the bus with the other little boy. I told her it was up to the camp to make sure he went home the right way. She shouldn’t be so hard on herself and her son. He is just a LITTLE boy. I said I don’t think he did it on purpose. I think she feels that he is sneaky and doesn’t trust him. I sent her an email last night. I hope she doesn’t get offended by my email. I didn’t write it but I think she is just too hard on her children. She is lucky to have my son who is much more even tempered.
So this morning I am doing washing. Then I will pack up to go to the trailer. Hubby went yesterday. I need to get on the treadmill although my body has been hurting the past two days. I also have some messages to do. I need to buy some food for supper tonight.
I didn’t sleep too well last night. Probably because I was alone but it happens other nights too. I did start sewing the binding on one of my quilts so I am happy about that.
Better get on with my day. I have a lot ahead of me.
