IT’S OVER, ROVER – OK

So I am home after being in the hospital about four hours. I was so fed up. I got there before three. I registered and then sat down to wait. I waited and waited and waited. I was so frustrated and angry and fed up. I just wanted to walk out but I didn’t. About five they showed me into a little room and I waited till about seven thirty. She is a very cheerful doctor. I couldn’t believe it because she was working way over time. Anyhow she started to take the things off my eyes and it hurt. She kept telling me not to move but it hurt. I finally told her it was enough!! She put on something to stop the bleeding. It stung! I had enough and told her. I don’t know why she couldn’t use some type of freezing ointment. She said the needle would hurt way more. Anyhow I am glad I did it and it’s over. I don’t think I would do it again. They better not grow back. When I left there were still people waiting in the room. I wonder if they were all for her. I think it’s disgusting and unfair when doctors make us wait more than half an hour!  They should be able to judge how long it will take for each person.
So I cam ehome after eight. We had bagels for supper. Now I’m online. I think I’ll go to sleep early.

Mr. LBH’s surgery was postponed on Friday when the anasthesiologist was called into the emergency ward. We were there for four hours and now he has to wait until the middle of September. But…it could be worse.

so glad its over for you….but understand the frustrations of your long wait. Doctors are busy people, but so are we all….right? hugs P

I think it is ridiculous that you had to wait so long. I would have left. Actually I removed a lot of my own skin tags on my face with an ice cube and a pair of sharp nail scissors. Yeah I know I am crazy but it beats sitting in an office waiting room for hours! They didn’t grow back by the way 😉

I hate going to our regular doctor, because I always have to wait so long!! Even if there weren’t many people there, I wait…. it’s like they purposely move just as slow as they can, to see if they can get peoples’ blood pressure up!! On the other hand, when I went to a plastic surgeon to get a skin cancer removed, there was hardly ANY wait…. in, and out! Why the heck can’t all doctors be like that?! hugs, Weesprite
