GRANDCHILDREN -OK

Yesterday I babysat for my two grandsons. At first I thought I would just stick around their home and let them play DS until they got bored with it but one of them knew it wasn’t good for them to play too long so I decided we should go out sooner rather than later. So we did! I took them swimming at a wonderful pool. I have been there often and it is usually very busy. Many schools come too. The water seemed shallower than usual if that is possible. They both had fun and so did I..

I don’t know why the font size etc. keeps changing. So annoying.
It was a very hot, humid day!
After the swimming we went to McDonalds. We had lunch and then they played quite long in the park. I read my book and cleaned out my purse. After that we went over to the local mall. I promised them a treat and then I thought they would play in the park but apprently the park is being renovated. I wonder if it’s just going to be cleaned or changed completely. So we left and drove to mini golf. OY! It was so HOT! We put on suntan lotion. One of them hadn’t brought a horse so he wore mine. FUNNY! The golf course was really in a great setting. After they finished the 18 holes the boys wanted to play around but the owner told them it was dangerous. There was rocks and waterfalls etc. I shouldn’t have paid to play because it was just too hot. I hit the ball a few times and then just followed the boys around. After that we went to pick up their sister at daycare. She is so cute!!!!!!
We had supper together – nothing much……………bagels, cream cheese and lox. I use to "cook" supper just about every night but I don’t think my DIL ever does……………..
Anyhow then my grandson had a baseball game but in the end there was thunder and lightening so it was cancelled.
All in all a very good and busy day.
Tomorrow morning I am going to make some pineapple chicken and mock chopped liver. I will take it to the country for Saturday night supper. In the afternoon I am taking one of my grandsons horseback riding and then I’ll drive out to the country. Hubby went yesterday morning.
