BIRTHDAY PARTY ok

This morning we went to my grandson’s L’s birthday party. It was very chaotic. I don’t know exactly how many children there were but there were about 6-8 boys who of course were rough and noisy. There were also some girls who were probably my DIL’s friend’s kids. A magician was hired but he never showed up so the birthday boy was upset and the boys were going wild. They were playing in the basement. I suggested that they go outside where they could burn off some energy. There were some parents who played with and supervised the kids but I think everyone was happy at the end. My son barbecued hot dogs and hamburgers and then of course there was birthday cake.
My grandson O complained of a stomach ache. I don’t know what that was all about. He didn’t seem to be enjoying the party at all. Maybe it was too chaotic. The birthday boy also wasn’t too thrilled. I think it would have been better if the magician had shown up.
My son’s new house is HUGE!!!! It felt a bit cold!
I met my son’s girlfriend’s family – some for the first time. They seemed very friendly.
We came home about three. I had a nap for awhile. We had supper – nothing special; – chopped egg and salad. Then I had another nap while hubby watched the GAME SHOW awards.
Tonight I made two washi eggs. They were very easy to make and I plan to make more. I also want to try to make some Pysanki eggs. I will have to find a place to order supplies.
We have no plans for tomorrow. I think I will try to get hubby to do something but have no idea what.
