TIME FLIES-READ

I DON’T KNOW HOW TO WORK THE AIR/HEAT IN HERE. I’M FREEZING!@!!!!!

Tomorrow morning we leave to go home, back to Montreal. All in all we had a good trip. We saw most of the family that I wanted to. There is always more but we have to make choices.
Friday morning hubby went to be with his brother. I walked over to Michaels and Chapters. I spent about two hours at chapters reading with my KINDLE and looking around for books. I bought some books and toys for my young niece and nephew. I didn’t buy anything for the older children – not sure if I should or not. I also didn’t get anything for myself. It’s the end of the month and money is scarce. Maybe next time I would get them gift certificates from Chapters. We had a wonderful visit. My SIL’s three children were there with their children. The baby is adorable but they put her to sleep soon after we got there. It’s important that she keep the same routine. Crazy to me! The little boy is three and adorable. He always remembers that I gave him a MIckey Mouse picture. We were about 14. My poor SIL was exhausted! She does have help but apparently she had a very busy day. I was suppose to meet her today for breakfast but she didn’t feel well.
Then hubby met me and we went for lunch at Kelseys. I had onion soup which was not at all like I make mine. I also had flatbreads which was way too much. Hubby and I have to start sharing. In Florida it is served very differently. Then I drove him home. My cousin picked me up and we went to see her elderly mother who fell so is now in a rehab. Poor thing! She weighs nothing and seems to be miserable. She told me that they are going to make her better so that she could die! I still don’t understand why people have to suffer so much. She’s about 95. I had an interesting conversation with her although at times she became confused.

Today hubby went to visit his brother again. I stayed at the motel. I had breakfast, went online a bit and then back to sleep. In the afternoon I called my sister and spent a couple of hours with her. When we came out of the center there was a terrible storm. We ran to the car and drove home with no mishap, thank goodness.

Tonight we had supper with hubby’s sister and her husband. We went to a Greek restaurant. It was so busy. The food was pretty good. Then we went to their house for tea and a chat. All in all a good visit.

Not sure when we’ll leave in the morning. It all depends when we get up. We have my grandson’s birthday at four. I will be happy to be home.

That’s about it from Ginger in Toronto. Take care.

Your life is always so busy and so full! :o) !! I don’t think it’s always necessary to bring gifts for the older kids when one brings something for the little ones. Little children are delighted with little things, but it takes an awful lot to impress the older kids usually…. the things they like cost more, and it’s up to their parents to provide for them. Now if they’ll be happy with something SMALL, like the little kids are, that’s different! hugs, Weesprite
