A FUN DAY

I woke up early today so was able to get some things done and also have some fun. I was up around seven. I put in a washing. Then I had breakfast and read the news paper. After that I called our travel agent and made reservations for Winnipeg. I am going on May 28 – May 31. I am going with two cousins. One other was suppose to come but so far she couldn’t get reservations on the same plane as me so think she won’t come. What a baby!!! What’s the difference if she has to travel alone. It’s only about a three hour flight. The she worries about how we will meet in Winnipeg. What’s the big deal. My other cousin is leaving from Toronto. She’ll be there first so she’ll rent a car and then come pick me up when I arrive. For me it’s no big deal.

After that I went on the treadmill. I did my forty and also my back exercises. My body seems to be a little more achy since I started but maybe it’s just the damp weather.

Then my friend came over and we worked on our eggs. I made a Jewish egg with a star on the front and other decorations. On the back I wrote the Hebrew word for LIFE! We had a fun time working together. Next week we will probably work on our scrapbooks.

After that I made some spaghetti. Then it was time for bridge. I won a dollar for getting the lowest score.

Hubby and I have decided to go to TORONTO on Thursday so he can visit his brother. His brother seems to be depressed and isn’t well. We will leave on Thursday and return on Saturday as my grandson is having another party on Sunday. How many parties does a six year old need? I don’t even want to go as I don’t feel it’s our place. The children will be going swimming. Why do we need to be there? Anyhow we’ll go because my son would probably be upset if we’re not there. I wasn’t going to go with my hubby because he is only going for two nights but I think he will appreciate the company and doesn’t really like to travel alone. I want to go but I would prefer to stay longer as there are so many people to visit. I will go again another time and stay longer. This time I will do what he wants and support him as he visits his sick brother.
