JUST MY THREE CENTS
This might not be everyone’s opinion or even anyone’s opinion but it is mine. I don’t know why the US thinks we need to get involved with other country’s politics and their way of life. Why does the US think that their way of life is the only way? I think the US should protect our borders and otherwise allow other countries to govern their country the way they want. I think we lose too many young Americans to try to force other countries to live the way we think they should live. I think we should get out of IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN. It doesn’t seem as if much is changing in these countries anyways.
It is nearly a world without borders. Our businessmen travel – our citizens travel.. and we are obligated to defend them from unwarranted harm. When these countries beg us for help and their citizens ask us for help, we sometimes see reasons we need to do so. We don’t and can’t live just within our borders. If we can’t sell our goods overseas, we will not survive. This puts us in the world stage.

My thought is that I feel we should just allow these countries to beat the crap out of each other and the last ones standing are the ones who govern that country. But then what do I know? I am just another Candadian….
