WONDERFUL DAY AND NIGHT

I had a great day. Time alone and time with friends! This morning I did about five loads of washing. Washed all the towels, sheets and also the bathmats. Then I took myself shopping. I went to a new Joanns. I bought fabric to make a quilt for my "new" grandson. I already finished the one for his sister. On Friday I will give it in to be quilted. I figured it would be a lot cheaper to buy the fabric at Joanns rather than at a specialty quilt store. I went for lunch to an Italian restaurant called ROTELLI. Their fries are yummy! Then I went to Barnes and Noble for a few minutes. I looked at their journals but they had nothing I wanted. I like unlined ones and most of them have lines. I had a quick cup of coffee and then left to return home.

I am reading a great book THE BOOK OF NEGROES. I just started it but it’s holding my interest. I know a few people who read it and said it was excellent.

Later this afternoon I picked up three friends and took them shopping at BEALLS! They didn’t buy anything but of course I did. I bought three purses. Two were 50% off so I paid about 20 for each. The third was small with lots of pockets, zippers etc. It was 28.

Finally we went out for supper with about 16 people. The women sat at one table and the women at another. It’s the best way to go because you can’t talk to everyone anyways and usually the men and women talk to each other anyways. We went to OLIVE GARDEN. I had chicken marsala. It was very good.

So now it’s time for bed.

It is so frustrating. Why does the font and print size change as I type the entry???????????
