SUNDAY, SUNDAY
Not much doing around here. I just took my FOSOMAX so have to wait awhile before I can eat. Anyone else taking it? I read in the newspaper that there could be serious side effects. I am so tempted to stop taking it. I guess I will speak to my doctor when I get home.
Last night I did three loads of washing so this morning I folded it and put it away. My bed is already made. Isn’t that exciting? I am watching I LOVE LUCY. Soon I will have breakfast and read the specials. Looks to be a big paper today.
We have no plans for today. Maybe I’ll just hang out this morning and go to the pool in he afternoon. I might HAVE to go shopping.
I still have a sore throat but the cold is not coming out. Not sure why.
I am working on our song for the talent show next week. Hubby is helping and will sing it with me. I have to revise it and print it out today. Then we will start practicing. I think we will each sing a verse as we both sing differently. We will have the audience join in for the chorus. We have done this song often. I started to write and sing at weddings, Bar Mitzvahs many years ago. I’m not sure when hubby joined in. He is a great help writing the song.
Yesterday we were also home most of the day. I tidied up. Tidied the food cupboard which had become a mess. Chips were falling……crackers were cracking but now all is well. I enjoy tidying up as I get to see what we have. I have to start trimming down as we go home in about 2 months. The time is going so FAST!!!!
The week ahead will be busy.
MONDAY – art in the afternoon —- bridge at night
TUESDAY – meeting cousin in the afternoon – hubby will play bridge with her hubby and we will hang out or whatever
WEDNESDAY – QUILTING lesson – daughter in the afternoon – going to see here place and we’ll probably eat supper out
THURSDAY – MAYBE MAJ HONG in the afternoon – bridge at night
FRIDAY – My son and his girlfriend are coming for supper.
I’m tired just thinking about the week ahead. I didn’t swim at all this week. I guess I will go today. I don’t like to rush to go swimming in the morning if I am busy in the afternoon but think I will have to. Otherwise I won’t be doing any exercise. I am doing my back exercises at least once a day but don’t think that’s enough.
So time to make the donuts. Have a good one.
My mom couldn’t take Fosomax and her dr switched her to the once a month Boniva which she’s been using for quite some time now. You sure are busy for being retired.

WHEW that is alot to accomplish for this week! But I am so sure you are enjoying the FLORIDA warm weather as its freezing up NORTH! MY mom was taking that foxomax and she had some side effects so she switched to BONIVA and she loves it! I have other friends who are taking that too and they like it as well! BUT BUT who knows we all have our own tolerant, so maybe you can take it! Well restand enjoy your week! SMILE!

Don’t take Fosomax, but my Nexium prevents me from eating or drinking for 30 minutes. I take it upon arising, then do my morning routine, then make my morning tea. By the time the tea cools, 30 minutes are up. Otherwise, I just skip it. You are brave to be able to sing to people. Papa Blue says I have a beautiful singing voice, but I suspect prejudice, since my speaking voice is horribly grating.<P> RYN: Youngest son is in Israel on a church trip to the Holy Land. He sent an e-mail that he’s bringing me rocks from the Dead Sea, Jordan River water, pottery from Herod’s fortress, and one other thing…I can’t remember. I’ll put the Jordan River water next to my Fountain of Youth water. LOL! I’ll put the pottery shard next to my American Indian shards and the rocks will go in the garden. #2 son is in Orlando, just graduated from college and looking for a job. #1 son is here (well, in his own place, but in this town) and works for us and part time with a teen crisis intervention program.

I have heard bad things about Fosomax like it can deteriorate your jaw bone, a lot of doctors are switching people to Boniva, I would ask your doctor about that. Have a great week!

I take fosamax d…no problems, the major side effect is the jaw detioration…my doctor stands by fosamax because the studies for it have been around the longest…Boniva does not have long term studies.

I never realised you could sing….what a blessing! My dad takes Fozomac….and he takes it early in morning an hour before breakfast. Its a good routine. I also am not sure of the side effects…and I think he takes it for his osteoporosis….do you have that too? have a nice day.. hugs P
