Oh but there are DEALS going on right now at Disney! There is a buy 4 get 3 free, as in nights in the hotel, food and tickets! PLUS if you book it between certain dates you get a $200 gift card on top of it! And I don’t know if travelocity is still doing this deal, but they had buy 3 nights get $75 off if you use a mastercard. People were getting 3 nights at a value for $75! Yes, THREE nights for that! Those are the two best that I know of right now. Some people are getting 40% off room rates.

Ive a son like yours He moved in with his woman Has 5 kids NO job For some reason she loves him ? I am wondering why your son and his girlfriend can’t pay for their own tickets? I would never ask my mother to pay for my plane ticket. After all I am a grown up. If I can’t afford to travel then I don’t go. As for him moving in with his GF, there isn’t really a lot you can do. He has to make his own mistakes. Better off than a quicky marriage, at least if it doesn’t work out they can go their own ways. Men really can’t live alone, they need a wife to take care of them. My ex was married before the ink was dry on the divorce papers. Me, I am still single and probably will be for the rest of my life.I don’t mind it really.

families are out biggest love and our unending worries…. try not to fret. Your boys are both adults and able to learn their own life lessons by now. Don’t waste yout energy on self blame….just enjoy their visit. hugs P

nope…there isn’t much you can do besides love them. Kids need to learn some hard lessons sometimes and we as parents need to let them learn them on their own. I wouldn’t ask my parents for plane tickets. take care of you

Florida residents get a discount on Disney tickets. And probably if you are over 55 you might get a senior ticket. The most expensive thing is the food, but you could pack a sack lunch and put it in a locker and eat it instead of park food.

I hope he does not plan on bringing the girlfrend also.You ever think about buying him a bus ticket . Much cheaper and might make him think next time. My sons are my life but they do cause me problems also mainly with women.Nether has ever married. As Mom used to say why buy the cow when the milk is free?

I’m sorry. It is your husband’s fault. It was HIS JOB to teach the boys to work!

RYN: I just started a new “chapter” in my diary. The previous entries are on the side bar by year. Your boys are both adults and have to learn life’s lessons just as we did. It doesn’t serve any purpose to try to assign “blame”. Our children have to learn that we will not always be there to bail them out.

ha,ha, I did laugh about the comment re bus tickets. But really, i know its frustrating and all but he could be out selling drugs or some such other worse thing. Some folks take a lot longer than others to get on track (my sisters son is 35,dammit and still being a pain) Just enjoy your grandson and love your son. Grit yur teeth and bear it, I know you will cos I can tell you are a good mom.
