HERE OVER A WEEK ALREADY

I am finally all settled into my Florida home. I am so grateful to be here for the winter. I do have moments when I miss my grandson but what can I do. The pluses right now far exceed the minuses. I will just try to keep busy and happy and not think about back home too much. I mail him small presents every day or two. Maybe one day I will talk to him through a web camera but I am not great about calling.

Since I am here I have bought a new sewing machine and today I bought a small mini notebook – an ASCER. I’m all set. NO MORE SHOPPING for awhile.

Tomorrow I plan to stay home to work on my quilts and other hobbies. I also plan to make a chicken soup for supper and also for Friday. I have to invite a few couples for supper. Not sure why but I like to make supper.

I’ve been going swimming for an hour at a time in the indoor pool. Today I actually swam around the sides of the pool instead of walking back and forth like I usually do. Then I ran around doing messages. I went to the butcher and other stores. When I came back I was tired but happy. My daughter was waiting. She was suppose to stay for the evening and quilt with me but in the end she was frantic as she had an assigment she had to do for school. I had to rush to make supper. We ate and she left. I was a little frustrated but it could be worse.

So now it’s time for bed. Tomorrow is another day.
