HOME AT LAST

I arrived "home" around four o’clock. Thank goodness. Hubby was at the pool but after I called he came home to help me unpack the car. It didn’t take long as we have shopping carts to help. I have started to get organized but still have a lot to do.

My daughter came over and we went to RUBY TUESDAYS for supper. It was great to see her again. She wants to make so many plans but I told her that I have to get settled before I can promise anything.

So I’m here! I am happy that I will miss winter but I am very SAD to be away from my other children, grandchildren and my "real" home. I know this will pass as I just settle into a routine and put ugly sad thoughts out of my mind.

I hope to swim just about everyday.

I plan to read a lot.

I plan to eat less – no fries unless we go out to eat on the weekend.

I plan to eat more salads.

I plan to try out a three wheel bike.

I plan to make quilts for my "new" grandchildren.

I plan to enjoy the winter and appreciate being here. I know that on the way I often felt very sad because I left home but in time I will be fine.

I went to bed but couldn’t sleep. Hubby likes it warm and I like it cold!! I can see it will be a problem all winter.

So back to reorganizing my kitchen cupboards. I’ll keep you posted of course.

Have a nice winter in warmth. Funny our weather was staying so warm but then the other day it was 17 degrees. Now back up in sixties at least. Love,

Wow it sounds great! I wish I was someplace warm. The winter has just started here and I am so over it already!

Glad you got there safe!

I am jealous. It is freezing here..and we are only one state away. Enjoy!

It is terrible to like it different temperatures. I always slept with the windows open before we married and he like the room warm. I’m used to that now but we do have an electric blanket with different temps. I’m afraid he will cook himself! — I’m glad you made it safely and it is nice to be with your daughter. Yes, I’d want to be “home” too!

Joe likes our bedroom absolutely freezing! I am fine so long as I’m under the blankets, but it sure is cold when one has to get up! I hope you have a lovely winter in your nice cozy Florida home. hugs, Weesprite
