TIME TO BAKE THE DONUTS – ok
For the last few years I have been whining and complaining because I don’t feel "fulfilled." I don’t feel that I am doing anything worthwhile with my life!!!!! Once again this weekend showed me that I must decide on something to do but what?????????
I know I can volunteer but where and what and when. I know these are decisions I have to make myself. I know I can’t blame anyone for being bored. My hobbies just don’t keep my interest. Possibly because I just came home and not into any of them. I was enjoying the quilting so will have to get back to it.
Maybe I will get involved with the MARCH OF THE LIVING.
I am going to look into registering for courses at our Golden Age Senior Center.
I am definitely going to start exercising. Maybe tomorrow I will start swimming. I just have to check that the pool I use to go to has the same schedule as a few years ago.
Free time is great but not if you have too much of it.
I wonder if Walmart would hire me. Maybe I should fill in an application form. Would I need French? Probably and my French is not great.
So many choices!
So much to do and yet I can’t decide what and when and where and how and with whom.
We are still at the trailer but will be leaving soon. Guess I should pack up.
Why not get involved in March for the Living? It is so important to keep this part of history alive and known. Especially since so many survivors are getting so old.

I know your entry is sincere, but I would LOVE to have “too much free time.” I don’t think there is such a thing in our lives though.

I loved that commercial “Time to make the donuts.” You should just pick one small thing to start with…something simple. Don’t make it too ambitious or you’ll get overwhelmed. Being fulfilled is a fleeting feeling. I don’t think too many of us live a fulfilled life!

I didn’t know about the donuts commercial. Is it Tim Horton’s? Anyway, maybe taking a French language class would be fun – and useful.

Hey…the future is wide open, Wild Child.

Ahh! I yearn for the time where I can be bored because I have nothing to do! I’m sure if you let people know you have too much free time, they will fill it up with “stuff”!

Good luck with all this. It is hard to get started, but I’ll bet you’ll be really glad you did. The exercise alone may be enough, but there should be plenty of volunteer stuff to keep you very busy and involved too.
