UPSET AND TIRED IN ISRAEL – ok

I just realized that I lost the bracelet that I bought a few days ago in Israel so right now I am not a happy camper. The other night it came off while I was sleeping so I guess I should have been more careful.

Today we didn’t do much because Bush is here and the museums we wanted to go to were closed. So we walked to the SHUK – interesting. Lots of food! Lots of people buying food! Hubby bought some figs and I bought some Halvah. YUMMY! Something I hardly ever eat at home but here I figure I am walking most of the day so it’s ok.

I am trying to decide what to bring home for friends but I just can’t decide. I saw a beautiful necklace for myself but once again I can’t decide if I should buy it or not so I haven’t so far. I was thinking of buying friends hand lotion from the Dead Sea.

Right now I am inside. Maybe I’ll soon go out again. One thing is that this hotel is right downtown so we can go out shopping anytime.

There are a lot of beggars here. It’s hard to decide who to give to if at all. I feel like telling them to go to work! Some are begging for their families! Others for charity…………

Tomorrow we get up early as we are taking the bus to Eilat the most southern part of Israel. It should be very HOT!!!!!! I think the bus ride is between four and five hours.

Saturday morning we have a tour of PETRA in Jordan. That should be very exciting.

I have time so maybe I will read some of your entries.
