PACKING-read
Tonight I started packing for our trip to Poland and Israel. We leave Monday!!!!!!! It all fits in the duffle bag they gave us but I still have to go through everything again. I have to decide whether to take a sweater and/or a jacket. I won’t need them in Israel but maybe just maybe in Poland. The weather in Poland is suppose to be like Montreal. It could be rainy and damp.
In Israel I may need a sweater if places are air conditioned………….
I packed three pair of pants for Israel. Two white and one black. I am not sure if I should take black but I feel they go with everything and won’t show the dirt.
I will take at least one pair of jeans, one pair of "dressy" black pants and a black sweat suit which I might wear on the plane. So many decisions! Usually we travel by car so it is never a problem when we pack. I usually take too much.
Next will be my back pack. That will be hard. I have to decide on a book, a journal and at least one pen. My son is loaning me his IPOD touch so I will be able to get mail. I may try to download some songs.
So it is getting very exciting. I have been rereading my diary. I would have loved to get it all read before I leave but I don’t think it is possible. I will leave my children a letter someplace in the house with a personal message and my name and password for OD.
Tomorrow night I am having family for supper. Since we don’t go out to eat on Passover I decided we may as well have company. So now tomorrow I have to pick up my grandson at two and then prepare supper for 11. I will use PLASTIC so it won’t be hard.
Back to reading old entries.
wow time is flying by to get ready for your trip! I am jealous you get to go on a neat trip and i am sure you will learn a lot of history over there! I can’t to hear about your fun trip! Have a great weekend! Get some rest too!

It is alawys hard to pack for a long trip to several places. Good luck with that & I hope you have everything you need all along the way. PS, a postcard from Poland or any different country you travel to would be awesome. I appreciate any effort you make & would love to send you some cards too. I can’t believe you sold your old home with all the postcards. Were they cards sent to you or fromprevious owners or what?
