SUPER DUPER INTERESTING DIFFERENT DAY YESTERDAY
Yesterday we went to see a play called THREE OLD BAGS. The bags were elderly women of course. The play was hysterical. So true to life!
The play was in Knowlton, Quebec. It was an hour and a half from Montreal. The scenery was spectacular. Knowlton is on beautiful Brome Lake. I had never been there before. We met a few other couples. We walked around and then had lunch before the play. The play was all about what happens as we age. One woman was living with her children and looking after everything and everyone. She came to the park to escape. She brought with her knitting and bottle or VODKA!!!! Guess what she was knitting???? hair for her ginny??? Do elder women lose their hair on their vagina? Well she was knitting ‘hair" in different colours!!! Another one lived in a senior residence and was encouraging the others to move in with her. Last but not least one had her divorced son living with her. He kept trying to run her life so planned on runnign away. She came to the park everyday with her valise packed! The play was so true to life and funny!!!!!
Then we left Knowlton) Lac Brome) and started for the trailer. I slept most of the way. We had to make a detour as there was a bad accident on the way. Head – on collision. Hubby was just sitting. Finally we asked someone walking by and were given directions to drive around the mess. It would have been a perfect time for a GPS. Hubby would have rather sit there then turn around and maybe get lost.
We arrived at the trailer around six. Went our for supper with another couple. PONDEROSA!
Went to bed very early and actually slept right through.
This morning I am going for my quilting class. Then some shopping and then who knows.
Time for shower and breakfast.
The play sounds like fun. Those things can give us a real boost.

The play sounds sooooo funny! Mmmmm, Ponderosa! they don’t have any of them here where we live. But, where I grew up in upstate NY that was one of our favorite places to eat.
