NO GOOD

I realize that it is time we move out of this house. Neither of us want to take care of it especially my husband. Maybe he is too old to do it. He woke up and there was no hot water. He shaved with cold and didn’t tell me. I went on the treadmill and then was looking forward to my bath. NO HOT WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I came home around five. He still hadn’t called to look after it. He takes a bath once a week in the country. I take at least once a day so I need HOT WATER. OY!!! I don’t think I will cope with his aging or mine very well. The newspaper didn’t come today. Did he call to complain? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally did. I am not sure if it is laziness or neglect on his part or just no energy. Anyhow we are going out for supper. I will be back later to continue my complaining. I think it’s time to move out of here into a smaller home which will be easier to look after. I also MUST FIND THE PATIENCE AND TOLERANCE TO LOOK AFTER THINGS WHEN HE CAN’T OR WON’T. HELP!!!!!

I’m having trouble keeping all your homes straight! What is the point of having a big house if it’s a big pain in the butt?

I say do what works best for you. If a smaller house would fit your needs better, make the move! No use spending time not being happy and living in a way you wish you weren’t.

i’m with happy…. i would chop off bits he may want to keep. get an apt. they have to do all the work for you. *laughs*

I’d be pissed too and i agree with Happy & Rainbow! My hubby said the other day he hates to paint, so i think if i want to do any painting, i better either hire someone to do it, or call some girlfriends – which might be fun cuz we could paint then relax in the hot tub afterwards. Hope you have a better week. >^..^<

I totally support you in getting a more manageable place! And it looks as though he’s not going to do the things he used to in being supportful and responsible – which feels odd and sad. Maybe if you get a much simpler space, one that you feel okay with, you can re-learn to depend on yourself? So sorry it’s been difficult. Big Hugs!
