YESTERDAY DAY AND NIGHT-ok

We woke up early yesterday as we wanted to be at the synagogue by 9:30. Little did we know that the boy wouldn’t be called up until after 11:30. OY!! It was so LONG! Women and men sit separate. The women were talking during the service but I always feel guilty. Even though the service has no meaning for me I think we should sit quiet out of respect for others. The Bar Mitzvah boy did terrific. Nice clear, loud voice. Most boys do well because they learn their portion for at least a year. After services we had lunch. Delicious. Then we came home and I had a long nap. We could have gone shopping but I am trying NOT to spend. So far I am proud of myself.
In the evening we went for supper with BIL and SIL. Good meal but we weren’t that hungry. These weekends seem centered around eating. We are soon going to brunch at my niece’s house.
It was a beautiful day yesterday but today hubby says it is colder. That’s ok with me. Not sure what we will do this afternoon. Maybe I’ll try to get together with my sister or have another nap or go swimming. Tonight we are going out with my sister.
Tomorrow is home sweet home. Tuesday I have an appointment with my dermatologist. I will be relieved when that is over. I hope I will have an egg class in the afternoon. Then it’s bridge at my house at night.
So not much else.
