MY POOR SON-read

Just as I was getting ready to go to bed I heard my son talking on the phone. It was his son crying and in pain. He was home with his MOM. He wouldn’t take his medication and she didn’t know what else to do so she let her son call his father. Well my son told her he would come over. It’s a half hour away. I told him he should either give her a half hour to try to get him to take the medication and go back to bed or to go and stay there and tell her to go to her lover’s home. Why should he drive all the way there and then come back here to sleep? So he’s off and his ex will go with her lover to her house.
My poor son has always had to carry the load alone. She just isn’t a strong woman. I feel sad for my son as he has to give in. What else can he do? I think at the beginning he felt like a REAL man always rescuing her and taking care of her. It got old pretty fast.  He is stuck with her for life!!!!!
What is the answer? Not to get married at all? Not to have children?
