I am thinking about allowing my best friend to read my diary. I have known her for over thirty years and I can trust her. She knows one of my very PRIVATE secrets. One I will probably never share with anyone else.
I haven’t decided yet. I told her I would like her to read and scan for entries that would hurt one of my children if they read it after I die. I think I will call and discuss it with her. It’s probably too important to just email about.
Time for radiation treatment number two. I was up around four. I decided to get up and dressed about five thirty. When we get home about eight thirty I will have a nap if I am tired. Today I have my egg class and tonight friends coming to play bridge.
Have a healthy, contented day.
Do you watch SEVENTH HEAVEN? What do you think of the "girl" I forget her name who keeps repeating: EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE!" Even when someone confronts her about the possibility about her father’s death she says once again EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE. Not sure how realistic her attitude is but on the other hand maybe it is a good way to look at things.
Joey and I used to watch that show. It’s pretty good. I agree with the “everything will be fine” outlook…. sometimes it just takes longer for things to be fine, than people are willing to wait, that’s all. That’s a good idea about sharing your diary with your friend. hugs, Weesprite

Hmmm, I would definately screen things. Especially about the kids.

Not sure is I would let anyone read my dairy as I am brutally honest in mine, but if you trust her than I guess its OK.

I’m not letting my kids know about my diary — I’ve already written a bunch of stuff I have to decide whether to leave for them to see! 🙂 Nah, I wouldn’t let them see my diary.

I have a few friends who read my diary, but they know all that stuff anyway, most of the time. If the boys don’t like what they’re reading, they can turn the page. Their Mama is human. Hopefully they know that by now. I think when you have faith in God, everything IS fine. AS mortals, we think we control everything, but when we hand the reins over to God, we can know that the best outcome is the one that will happen, even when it doesn’t look like it’ll be the best. Radiation treatments? **HUGS** You just went on my prayer list. Be well. Be strong. Trust God. RYN: Thanks for the encouraging words. Seems like there’s a new obstacle every day.

positivity can only help all of us….even in down times we must remember we will always come up again. AS for your diary and secrets…..do whatever you need to do and know it will be the right thing. hugs P

Lucy…and it will (in some period of time) all be fine, won’t it?
