ANOTHER OLD ENTRY

While driving to Florida one year with a brand new van our transmission died. This is the letter I wrote to the "mechanic" who helped us. We spent a week somewhere in the Carolinas till a new transmission was found. In the end they let us rent a car and continue on our trip to our new condo in Century Village, Deerfield, Florida.
Dear Roy,
Hubby and I would like to extend our sincere thanks to you, Vicki, Dalton, Dalton’s partner and Leroy for the kindness and assistance in our real time of need. Can you imagine being thousands of miles from home and having your transmission die?
We appreciate  you moving heaven and earth to get us a van so we continue on our trip.
Thank you also for procuring a new transmission when they were very scarce.
We certainly appreciate the patience of all your staff and how they helped to reduce our anxiety.
We hope your customers realize how fortunate they are to have such a caring team to look after their needs.
I don’t remember if I ever sent this letter. It was quite an experience.
