DAY TWO IN TORONTO

It rained most of the day. It was windy and damp and cold. In the morning hubby and I had breakfast in the lobby at this Comfort Inn in Toronto.
Then we went to the BAT MITZVAH!!!! My niece did us proud. She sang so well. The words were clearly innunciated. We were proud of our girl. The services were alot different than at our synagogue. Women were allowed to participate in the service and children were encouraged also. Very different from our services where women especially are ignored!! After services we had lunch. It was a small affair. I realized there were no OLD people there. Only us. Of course we are not young but I feel young.
In the afternoon hubby and I went shopping. I bought a toy for my great nephew, another DVD for my grandson and a Game Boy game for two other great nephews.
We came home about five and I had a wonderful nap!
Tonight we went for supper with hubby’s family. Went to an Italian restaurant. I had veal parmigian. Very good.
My grandson didn’t feel well most of the day. My son has so much patience. When they go home he will have to take him to the doctor. He’s had an ear infection for quite awhile and it doesn’t seem like the antibiotics are working.
Tomorrow will be a quiet enough day because the BAT MITZVAH party is at night.
