A BUSY HECTIC WONDERFUL REUNION WEEKEND

I had a very busy but wonderful weekend with family and friends. Saturday night I had friends for supper. Two couples I have known since before I was married. That’s over forty years!!! One couple slept over. I had plenty for supper but I overcooked the lasagna. So often it doesn’t heat up so I put it in at six and we didn’t eat until seven. We had a lot of fun, talked about old times. talked about my friend who passed away etc. I was surprised that one of my friends mentioned that he never liked my friend’s husband.
My SIL arrived about ten thirty. She was exhausted as she had driven herself from Toronto. She went right to bed.
This morning was my friend’s unveiling. There was a large turnout. We went back to the house after for lunch.
Tonight I spent time with my SIL talking about my brother’s children and their inheritance.  She doesn’t feel that they are being fair with her. I have no idea. We also watched a DVD called THE SECRET. All about your thoughts coming true. THOUGHTS ARE THINGS. She is deep into NEWAGE stuff, health food etc. Problem is she tries to convince others who like my sister and hubby have no interest at all.
Tomorrow she leaves. In the morning she will help me and hubby empty my studio. Good to have an extra pair of hands. Then we will do some shopping and she will leave.
I spoke to my sister. My BIL is not doing well so is scheduled for open heart surgery next Tuesday. Since I am going to Toronto next weekend I will stay a few extra days to be with her. She is so nervous so atleast I can keep her company. She does have a son but it is NOT the same.
So this will be another busy but happy week.
