WHAT HAVE I LEARNED

I am making a scrapbook page which will be about what I have learned in the past 64 and a half years. So far I am having trouble coming up with what I have learned…………..

I thought I would brainstorm here………..

So in the last few years I have learned that:

getting older sucks

it is scary
_______________________________
things change all the time
_______________________________
My opinions are as valuable as anyone else’s
_______________________________
I have lots of free time to do what I want
_______________________________
I no longer worry about what others think
________________________________
The saying is true: Small children small problems; Big children, big problems!
________________________________
You cannot change anyone else just yourself
________________________________
You can choose any attitude that you want for any situation
________________________________
I will be me and not get influenced by the media
________________________________
There are more important things to do than cleaning
________________________________
It’s important to phone and stay in touch with family and friends
________________________________
The older you get the faster time seems to go
________________________________
Do it today. You don’t know what tomorrow will bring
________________________________

A great list, well thought out! Only point of difference is that I don’t think ageing sucks, except that the older body does, but there are benefits in ageing too, such as greater wisdom and appreciation for life: hugs P

good list, have to agree with it, like gypsy spirit I don’t think aging sucks but the things that go wrong with the body and mind at this time does, I like the fact I don’t have to be concerned with what others think about me now, it is not that important at this point in life…..huggs
