A WONDERFUL REUNION-read

This weekend was my hubby’s 50th reunion from his high school. It was super. They had one teacher there and about 150 others.
In the afternoon we went to see the old high school. Alot of it was changed but it brought back very warm memories to the students who had gone there years before.
In the evening we went to the reunion. There were h’oer douevres first. I spent some time talking to old friends and other wives who didn’t know anyone as it was their hubby’s reunion.
A class picture was taken and I also took lots of pictures using my digital camera.
During the evening songs were song, memories talked about and we didn’t get home till one.
There was some dancing but we never dance. The food was ok but the service was lousy.
All in all it was a great evening.

150 people for a 50th reuinion is quite a turnout….your husband must have had a big graduating class! Nice that spoke to wives who did not know anyone…that’s always a tough situation, to be the odd one out. I’m glad you all had a wonderful time.

I thought you were a dancer…. Ginger Rogers, right? So sorry you don’t dance. My hubby doesn’t like it, but I do love to go where I know people who WILL dance with me… 🙂 Sounds like a lovely reunion!

well, sounds like yalll had a great time posting some pictures of the reunion here ?

Did you meet your husband while you were both in high school? It sounds like a fun reunion, especially the singing and dancing parts! We went to Joe’s 20th reunion and I had a blast; never have been to one of mine, though! Really don’t wanna see any of those people! Here’s hoping the week doesn’t turn out as rainy as forecast (re: your more recent entry) so you can have some fun. hugs, Weesprite
