I am so disgusted with Oprah’s show today. Why is she wasting valuable air time talking about treatments to look younger. Why can’t she celebrate old age and all it’s beauty and wisdom. Since she started to focus on STARS I have stopped watching her show. Why doesn’t she go back to the book reviews? Why doesn’t she focus on social issues?
I am so sad that the media spends so much time telling woman how to look skinny and younger. It’s not reality.
I will NEVER watch her show again.
why? Cuz she’s a narsissist and an egomaniac. She is so annoying. And she finishes people’s sentences. Does a good interviewer do that? No. She feed women what they want…men, gossip, food and diets.

I agree 100%!! She used to have interesting subjects. Why did she turn away from that, and start doing dumb shows? Who does she want to appeal to anyway?? There is too much dumb tv already anyhow! hugs, Weesprite

Hmmm… I was just wondering… why “dismiss” her ENTIRE show over a few topics? What I do is pick and choose when to watch her show, depending on what’s going on in my life and what I find interesting. I don’t like most of her topics, so I don’t watch.

I haven’t watched her show in years, so I don’t know what kinds of topics she’s had lately… but my guess is that she herself is getting to the point where she’s concerned about looking younger and skinnier, so she figures everyone else is, too.

Last time I saw part of her show, she had on someone who donated a kidney to another person. She asked the first person (because they only had one kidney now), “Do you pee less now?” How retarded! Yeah… I’ve felt that for some time… guess I never have really watched her much. I just don’t feel entertained OR enlightened there… I’d rather watch the judge shows… I watch lots of those when I get a chance — I find the law fascinating and … I like to try to imagine if I were the judge what I’d say or do… an unfulfilled dream of mine…. the law! 🙂
