WHAT A CRUISE-OK

Thanks for all the wonderful encouraging notes. This is our last day on the ship. I can’t wait till it’s over. I have been feeling lousy the whole trip. My taste buds are entirely out of whack so at least I won’t gain any weight. I can’t believe what others are eating. It’s like it’s their last meal.

Today is it is very windy and raining. The ocean is NOT calm.

We are going to Nassau. We are already late. I don’t know why we travel so long and then get to stay on the island such a short time.

I will be so happy to be home. I realize I am not a traveler – not sure if it’s because I am sick or I am just NOT a good one to travel in a group. I so much want to be on my own schedule.

Anyhow tomorrow we get off the ship about 9:30. Then it will be home almost sweet home.

Nassau has changed so much in the last 15 years or so. We went there for our honeymoon in 1986 and in 1996 went back for our anniversary and it was SO different!! I wish I could go back…I love it!!

You’re probably not enjoying your trip because you don’t feel good. I’ve never been on a cruise, but I think I’m more like you; just want to do things on my own.

Make the best of it. Nassau is one hot little place. I remember when I went with my husband and I ended up at the nude beach LOL. Unfortunately these naked men were not so great BLAH!

So sorry that this didn’t turn out to be a good experience for you!

I’m so glad you are home! I know you are much happier now. It would drive me crazy, having to follow a group’s schedule, too. You might like travelling on your own a lot better. Or then again maybe you’re just a homebody. I pretty much am. I’d never go on a cruise because I’m scared of ships! I got a chuckle out of your poem. I’d probably win one, lose two, also! hugs, Weesprite

I’m sorry to read the trip didn’t get any better for you. I hope you feel better soon. Did you get any decent photos? I wish I’d given you my snail mail address for you to send me a postcard. I have a collection from all over the world. My B&B guest enjoy looking at them & so do I. Feel better soon.
