MY FIRST SEWING LESSON-ok

This afternoon I had my first sewing lesson. It went very well. I don’t know if I’ll remember everything about the machine but I have an instruction booklet to help me.

I am making a purse or pocket book as my US friend calls it. I am ready to start cutting out the pieces but right now I am going for a nap. Tomorrow morning I’ll have time to cut everything out.

We are waiting for the cable company to come install the cables. They were suppose to be here between one and five. It’s four twenty three. Do you think they are coming??

We should be leaving here around five so hopefully they will come before and not stay too long. Wishful thinking, I think.

Hey that’s terrific! I just bought my daughter a sewing machine for her b-day and the first thing she made was a poket book.

How come when workers say they’ll come “between one and five,” it’s never close to ONE instead of five??!! Are they ANYwhere, doing ANYthing at one?? Inquiring minds want to know! Good luck with the sewing. I inheritted a sewing machine from Brother, but really don’t know how to sew (following patterns, etc.)…but might figure it out this summer! Wow, How great. I love sewing and want to make lots of things. I bought a new machine last year at this time and made costumes for my grandkids for Halloween. Not fond of that so called holiday but I did make them something neat. Love you.

More often than not they show up 5 minutes to 5 so they “made it” I HATE that! Where were they the other 3 hours and 55 minutes? One thing I could never learn to do was sew. I tried and tried but never could get those seams straight. Good luck with that.

We call it a purse in Canada…..as far as I know anyways! Sewing is theraputic for me

I have enjoyed sewing since I first learned how as a young girl. I plan to make more time to sew for my granddaughter. Enjoy & I hope the cable guy came in time for you
