EVERYTHING – OK

GRATITUDE

WE ARE ALL WELL HERE.

IT’S SUNNY OUTSIDE.

The weekend was very busy!!!!! Today will also be busy but not as rushed as the weekend.

On Friday we drove to Ottawa, Ontario. It was very very hot and humid. YUK!!!!!!! We went to a mall so I could go to Cotton Ginny and change my pants. Luckily there was no problem. I chose another pair and also a blouse. We had lunch in the mall. After we went to the market. I wanted to go to the Paper Paper store. It had moved and was much bigger but I was very disappointed. They just had  a lot more greeting cards and a lot less journals. At least I wasn’t tempted to spend any money!!!! Then we went back to the motel because it was just too hot to walk around.

At night we went to our friend’s son for supper. What would we do without deli and paper plates etc????? Saturday found us at the synagogue. In the afternoon we went to Chapters to buy some books. At night was the Bar Mitzvah party.

Sunday morning we were up early to come into the city to meet with our kids for brunch. My poor grandson wasn’t feeling well but managed to rally while we ate. We had a delicious brunch at an Inn. It was on a lovely lake so the scenery was superb. For the first time the women paid for the meal. After all it was Father’s Day. I was thrilled that I actually had cash on me to pay my share. The kids bought my hubby a fancy Bar BQ set. Of course he didn’t appreciate it because he already has a set. Material things don’t mean anything to him.

After brunch we came home to relax. Then at night we went to a FANCY WEDDING!!!!! It was held at our synagogue so I took lots of pictures. I’ve been to many affairs over the last two weeks. I think this one cost more than all of them put together. VERY ELEGANT. The band had about ten musicians plus singers. The music was loud so we left at the first opportunity. You should have seen the desserts. To die for.

Anyhow time to go back to bed and/or start my day.

Too bad the music was so loud at your wedding. Did you have a dessert (or two) before you left?

RYN: I’m reading “the Kind of Torts” by John Grisham.

RYN The words I was doing are from Love Green Light. I’m too busy to do them right now too.
