GRATITUDE

 

I HAVE A WONDERFUL CLOSE KNIT FAMILY.

 

MY BROTHER WAS WELL TONIGHT AND ABLE TO FULLY PARTICIPATE IN THE PARTY..

 

 

What can I say? Tonight was the culmination of a fantastic week. It was the Bat Miztvah party for my great-niece with about 100 twelve/thirteen year olds and a lot of friends and family.

The DJ was excellent!!!! The music was lively and I danced the night away. Usually I don’t but tonight I was determined to have a good time. I also wanted to work off all the french fries and other junk I ate. There were all kinds of fun activities for the kids. They made tattoos for the kids, gave out those shiny things, flashing things etc etc.

The food was delicious…………………….the music great and we celebrated our good lives.

My sister sang a song and I made a short speech to tell my nephews and nieces how PROUD I am of them. They are such wonderful, caring parents and their kids all reflect this love.

When I arrived at the party my sister was a wreck. Apparently my brother and his wife had a difficult day. I am not sure what happened but my brother who is not suppose to be driving took off in the car. My sister went over, calmed things down and everything was ok for the party. I think my sister-in-law is totally stressed out and will need some help. I suggested a cleaning lady. My brother may go stay with one of his kids for a few days.

My poor sister is very affected by all this. Also she is so fed up with her husband. He is a real prick!!!!! I think now he is also a cheap bastard. Can you tell I don’t like him? She said that maybe within a year she will leave him. I have been waiting for years. She has NO life with him. I always told her that her life in our city would be much better for her. I told her I would help anyway I can. I feel bad that I have to go back home tomorrow but there’s nothing I can do. I will keep in touch and if I have to will come back for a short visit in a few weeks.

So time to go to sleep. Tomorrow I’ll have to finish packing and then drive for six hours to get home. My daughter will be coming with me. All in all I had a wonderful week.
