A WONDERFUL PARTY – read

Last night we celebrated M’s 65th birthday. It was wonderful. I don’t know why but I danced a lot and I was the party photographer. I took loads of pictures…….maybe 4 rolls or more. Of course I didn’t load one roll right so I did take a bunch with NO FILM! Thank goodness I realized my mistake!!!!!!! Of course I am not sure which pictures I missed. There were a few other photographers and someone was taking a video.

There were about 100 people. I knew most of them accept for a few from M’s side. This is my best friend’s second marriage so I don’t know his family well.

The band was great! One of our very old friends was in it……..not sure if it is his band or he is just a singer in it. Anyhow the band was great——sang some of my favorite Jewish songs.

My hubby had a ball too——-really loosened up and danced also. Of course it is because he had a few drinks with his buddies. I think I should keep him slightly drunk because then he is so relaxed.

Once again I sang a song and had the guests help with the chorus. It was a lot of fun and went well.

I wasn’t too crazy about the food. I don’t know why M uses that caterer. I only got one hot dog in a blanket. I love them. I guess I should buy a box of them and eat until I get stuffed. Maybe then I won’t like them so much.

M’s Aunty D was there. She was a friend of my mother. Thank G-d she looked so good. It’s hard to imagine that she is 90!!!!!!!!!!

So all in all it was a wonderful party. We came home about 1 and of course after getting home I went online a bit. Think I will go back to bed…………………
