AN UPSETTING MORNING-read

This morning I was very upset because my darling daughter could not print out her homework. She woke up after ten, probably closer to 11 and had to get dressed and print out her term paper. She had to be at school before 12. Well to make a long story short she couldn’t do it. The computer kept saying she was performing an illegal operation etc. I think she typed it out on her Mac and the wanted to print it using my IBM.

I watched her as she became very frustrated and more and more hysterical. I didn’t say anything! Was I ever good????? I think she must have gone to sleep extremely late so was at her wits end when her paper wouldn’t print.

HAS SHE LEARNED A LESSON?

I doubt it. Anyhow as she sat and sobbed while fighting with the computer I was unpacking boxes and getting just as upset as she was.

I wanted to yell at her. Why did you leave it until the last minute? When are you going to learn. Too bad for you!

But of course I didn’t. Why should I add to her misery?

Too make matters worse I think she left the last page here. I don’t know if I should tell her or not……….

It takes a lot of living to grow up doesn’t it???
