A GOOD DAY-Read

Today I had a very good day.

I visited my mother and she was in such a good mood so it made the visit much easier.

Then I went to buy new fixtures for the kitchen and they turned out ok.

I also bought a few books at the used book store.

I am so happy when I can do what I want. I find it very hard when I have to do things. Like if my hubby is home and he wants me to do something or go somewhere. I am so use to spending the day alone and moving at my pace. It is difficult to change on weekends and vacations.

I also spoke to a friend who is trying to find a girl for my son. Poor man! He is a very shy, 29 year old man and if he isn’t careful life will pass him by. He is so anxious to get married and start a family. He wants to buy a house next fall. I hope by then he can find a girlfriend. The problem is that I think he is afraid and doesn’t go out at all. He will go out if I someone fixes him up BUT he needs to go places where there are young people. Boy he soon won’t be young anymore!!

So tonight my friend came over for supper and we wrote a song for her hubby’s birthday next week. I am getting tired of writing these songs because it is becoming very routine. I hope I don’t have to do it again for a long time!

So that was my day and I THANK G-F for a wonderful day.
