The no theme or point entry

Just popping in while I have a few minutes before this day gets real busy. It’s a day off that has about 2 days worth of stuff that needs to get done and of course only one to do it. Isn’t that the way it always works? So it’s just going to be some quick hits from me with no real theme to this entry.

The big thing today is that I’m going with my Mom to sign the lease and pick up the keys for her new place. So she’ll be moving out of our place over the next few days. I do love her but it will be nice to have her not here all the time. It’s just been a lot of little things that have gotten on my nerves and even more on Cindi’s. Still I will worry some since over the last 6 months I’ve had my eyes opened to just how much mom has declined and my not be making the best choices. Granted she’s 82 so some decline can be expected but some of the issues are worrisome. I’m sure I’ll have more on this in the future.

I can’t wait for next week, I’m finally eligible to upgrade my phone and will do it quickly and Cindi will do hers at the same time. We’re on a family plan with Verizon and she’s been eligible for the upgrade for like 2 months but for some crazy reason I wasn’t. That really irritated me especially since they are being so inflexible on that point and Cindi’s had the account with them for 14 or 15 years which is practically forever with a cell phone.

We both need to upgrade not just out some desire to have the newest and best phone but both of our phones aren’t working right. Cindi’s the keypad on the front just won’t work half the time or more. My phone is a touch-screen and it hasn’t worked right ever since getting wet a while back.

Right now we are leaning towards some type of smart phone but not sure of what type and if we really want to pay the additional for the data plan the phone would require. Just out of curiosity what type of phones do you have and if you have the smart phone is it worth it?

My headache from 2 weeks ago finally went away, just as soon as the super high level of pollen went away. Mostly it was sinus in nature and the allergies just made it worse.

I’ve got to really get on the ball and start thinking about what to get Cindi for our anniversary which is coming up in a couple of weeks. It’s scary to think that we are coming up on being married 13 years.
