Life in funky town

I’ve been in a funk the past few days and can’t really put my finger on the cause other than a general post Christmas let down.  Plus Christmas I got something I really wanted, a nice watch, but knew all about since I actually picked it up and paid for it.  It just made sense that way since I picked it up at work and with sales and employee discounts and such I was able to save over $200 on it.  Here’s a picture of it:

So I guess some of my funk is that I didn’t any major wow factor with opening the gifts on Christmas day.  Which is something that I always love and while I know it’s not the main point of Christmas it still is important. 

Another part is work, it seems that I’m always there or getting ready to head into work.  Now for my department we really don’t do all that good in the weeks before Christmas, no one wants to give a mattress for a present.  But we did start our big sale the day after and so far I’ve been doing good but always want more. 

Well speaking of work I’ve got to head that way now and get Ella dropped off at school.  Have a great day and make someone smile.
