Dog rats

Another whirlwind week!!

I went for a massage after work Thurs at the chiropractic office where good ole hearted Doc Neal takes care of my aching back, shouldars, legs…and whatever.  Jen Lee is a little chinese dynamo and worked those lumps out of every knotted muscle.  Doc Neal told her i was like humpty dumpty– i needed to be put back together again–and she rose to the occasion!

This is the second time i’ve been to Jen Lee and she doesn’t stop working on you until you’re done, resulting in running thirty minutes over my allotted time both times.  She does reflexology, which i know very little about, but i’m learning.  She massages the sides of my heels and as i’m about to come up off the table because it hurts so good, she explains to me that that’s my lower back.  The sides and soles of my feet are connected to my legs and she even found a sore big toe that i didn’t know existed, that she explained was connected to my calf.  Shhheeeees, i’m falling apart here!!  But she did such a WON-derful job of putting me back together again!!  All of this sitting and computer work is killing me!

Thanks to Jen Lee, i think i might make it for another week or two…

Chandler and Bailey have had things planned for the past two weekends, so we haven’t seen the little rug rats.  But i have to share with you about Bailey’s make believe cat, Sarah.  Every time i see her, she has a story about her cat, Sarah, that always runs away (Bailey’s mamma said if she was Bailey’s pet, she’d run away, too!!).  But i instigate the stories.  The last time i asked her about Sarah, she told me the standard that she had run away.  But this time, she knew Sarah was down by the bridge.  Bailey said she’d gotten a cage for Sarah, but she got out.

Pappa j asked, "Do you feed her?"

Bailey thought about that for only a micro-second before answering, "No."

"Well, what does she eat?  River rats?"

Bailey’s little 4 year old face became very serious.  "No, her eats dog rats."

So,  if ya’ll have any excess dog rats around, i’m sure Sarah would appreciate you sending them her way…

Ok, i’m off to do something constructive…like trying to put the living room back together.  J’s been painting walls that have never seen paint and they look so wonderfully clean!!  Now, to get the blinds cleaned and windows washed, clean curtains ironed and replaced and some things back up on the bare wall and we’ll be set!!  Right now it looks like a cyclone’s gone through– except for the bea-U-tiful walls, anyway!!

Hope ya’ll’s day is filled with peace.  Blessed be!!!
