Quick update…
J came home from the hospital Tuesday morning. (YAy!!!!) He was still kinda shaky from the pain and the heavy duty medicine they’d given him for three days. It killed the pain for him in a heart beat, but also made him hallucinate have no recollection of lots of conversations we had. By Monday, he’d started refusing the every two hour dosage, going to four, then six. Fortunately, the pain was MUCH better by then. But he was sweating, his skin itching, and he was still seeing things moving that weren’t, etc. We weren’t prepared for withdrawls!!
The pain’s been coming and going in intensity. But…that’s how chronic pancretitus works, unfortunately. It’s been two weeks ago today that it started, so, from past experience, it should be leaving soon…i hope and pray. He worked Thursday and i think it helped him just to get out, although i know he’s still hurting. It’s hard for me to go to work and leave him.
Anyway, i need to get up and move around…bounce off the walls a little and get rid of this nervous energy!
And…thanks everyone for your kindness, thoughts and prayers. Blessed be!!
I hope things go well for you all. Sunny in Jawja?
