Interrupted…but now i’m back!!

Ok, i started this entry yesterday morning…

What a week!!  Busy and tired and accomplishing a few things along the way.  And i’m thinking back on it and smiling, so that’s a GREAT thing!!

I went to j’s after work yesterday and surrendered his fancy car so we could go to the body shop to pick mine up.  It’s bea-U-tiful!!!!  It has such a shiny new paint job on it that it’ll ’bout put your eyes out when the sun’s shining on it!!  And that piece of bare metal (ok…plastic) on the front spoiler is finally filled in– YIPPEEEEE!!!!  I know, strange to get soooo excited over a twelve year old car, but, her and i have been through sooo much together and she just keeps hanging together for me.  So the paint job and NEW HEADLINER are a great way of patting her on the back.  Yeah, i know, i get silly over cars…

OH, and i played golf last week with Anthony!  It’s the first time i’ve played since j and i split up, about four and a half years ago.  J was working, so we got to play free and Ant and i were both amazed at some of the shots we hit!  We only played six holes because we were melting out there after work, but i was feeling goofy and it must’ve been contagious.  On my first tee shot, Ant said, "Shot of the day!!" and we each declared several more after that.  And i hope Ant and i can get back out there again soon!!

J had to be at work early this morning, so i got some alone time last night and spent it cleaning.  OMIGOSH, this place is a MESS!!!  I might be about caught up!!!  Nah!!!

Ok, this is where i stopped yesterday when i got a phone call from my Bailey Boo ’cause she wanted to tell "Rappy" good morning– she’d just gotten into town the night before with her mama so of course, i stopped everything and ran to call her back!!!  I was QUITE honored that she’d thought about me!!

So, Bailey, Chant and their mama and daddy and j and i spent the afternoon playing in the pool.  Those grandkids are magical!!  They make me laugh so hard–especially the short little blonde one with the three year old’s attitude!!  Here she is getting chauferred around the pool by "Papa"…

 
Awwww,,.if her and the other grandkids realllly knew how powerless Papa and i are against them, we’d be in BIG trouble!!!
