Snow and pictures…:)
We’re finally getting a little snow and it’s so beautiful! Was supposed to start w/ sleet then snow-up to 6″, which is no big deal. But they changed it to 10 now, a little more fun and it started w/ snow here so hopefully we’ll get the full 10. And we only had to wait ’til February for it! *snort*
This afternoon it was getting bad fast, so I had to make my “Logan run” and get a few things from the store. The way in was fine, the way home was a bit tricky. Oy. Soon as I got home we had enough snow (about 5″ new on top of the old stuff) for a good snowmobile ride, so off I went, sailing into the darkness thru’ the thick white curtain. Bliss. I wasn’t going far so I just had my jeans on and a jacket, no helmet or suit(hate those), and it’s my ultimate favorite way to ride and I had a blast. Had to come in and make supper however and by then my hair soaking wet! *L* Now that’s done and so are dishes and soon I’m heading out again for a bit. What a great day. *s*
Yesterday was a tough one, wasn’t it? Heartbreaking. Hearing about the shuttle, seeing it all unfold countless times. My heart goes out to the families waiting on the ground those last few minutes. What a tragedy for all involved. It’s so hard on those left behind. Sigh. The astronauts had had, until then, a successful mission and their hearts were full and happy one imagines. That’s a good thing, very good. How extremely courageous they are. I just keep thinking of the horror those waiting for them must’ve felt-I hope those in shuttle knew nothing. God bless them all.
I keep watching today for new news coming in. But I haven’t seen much, after I’m done here, I’ll head over to the CBS site, they’ve been doing pretty well.
As much as I love live dangerously at times, I cannot imagine, just cannot imagine belting myself into a capsule and going into space. Not being able to get out or anything. It just blows my mind that people love it up there so much and then love it enough to do that.
Ok, well anything I’m writing seems, after such a terrible thing, the wrong thing. I didn’t want to *not* say something, however. That would’ve felt strange.
Onto the pic’s, these are a few taken on Christmas day…and I had to laugh, the ones I hurried and downloaded, well, weren’t the best. Brie looks a little frenzied, I look like a grandma for certain with my glasses slipping down my nose, and Chels…well, wait, Chels looks fine. The brat! *w* At any rate, maybe I’ll put some better ones on here later, just too busy around here today and I wanted to get it done! Logans outfit was so darling, it was velvet-red shirt and green bibs w/ feet. The feet were little red and white slippers and his hat matched. Cuddly and precious. *s*

Have a great night everyone, if it’s storming there too, stay safe and warm. I’m heading out for one more ride, then a walk, then I’ll come in and warm up in my chair. I have all the curtains open and the lights are off. This is my most favorite kind of night. Sure wish Brie and Logan were here though-but we keep calling back and forth alot with reports and speculations! *L*
Night all.
I am soooo jealous. It’s supposed to be 78 here today and raining. Makes it that much harder for those who have to tromp thru the woods looking for debris. Hey – you look great! I love your hair. So pretty. Sure wish I could hold that sweet baby 🙂 love you…

Well I’m sorry I see nothing wrong with any of these – Brie looks the picture of health with these apple cheeks! She won’t thank me for saying that I’m sure! Wind’s howling good style outside as I type but no more snow – north-east of Scotland is being bypassed snow-wise at the moment which is fine by me. However I think it’s coming our way eventually so we’re not going to escape!

Have you a picture of a snowmobile you could post on here? I’m not sure the image I have in my mind is the right one. Sounds like a lot of fun though!

Great pictures, of ALL of you! And going snowmobile riding sounds like lots of fun. It was actually warm here today, amazingly enough.

RYN – we didn’t actually get the DVD player on Amazon – we got it at Circuit City. And we didn’t even shop around or compare prices or anything, which was kind of weird. We got a Zenith for around $80, which was the price range of nearly everything there unless you got a really fancy one for $100 more. I was just stunned at how cheap they are, for something so cool!

Logan IS adorable… but you knew that, right???? *LOL*
