Not Yet….Oy
Thanks for all your great notes on the ‘witchy woman’. Heh. Glad to know I wasn’t being too jealous or something. Hubs is so stressed these days that if she pulls anything tomorrow at practise, I feel sorry for her. He’s in no mood and he’ll notice now since I ‘so sweetly’ *snort* pointed it out to him.
He’s stressed from work. He has had another job dropped on him along with the job he already does. Have I mentioned this before? He did manage the window division, now he also manages the siding division. He’s completely turned the window div. around, got them out of near debt and organized and in the 6 months he’s been there, tripled the projected income from them. So now they figure he can do that for the siding also. Sigh. He told his boss that he would have to hire someone or it couldn’t be done (where in the hell is he supposed to find the time?!) so when they find and hire someone, his load will lighten some. His assistants have also had to take on extra work. Pretty tense around there I’d imagine.
He had 5 crews (installers and their help) before now he has 12 crews with the siding div. Last night he was exhausted. He got home around 8 – the usual lately- and he looked it. He also had an upset stomach and -this was weird-his lips were numb/tingling, like he’d had novocaine. Which he hadn’t. I went to WebMD and those symptoms could be from low blood sugar, or cold sores. He has a cold sore on the inside of his lip, gets them from stress. I went and woke him up and made him take a tbsp. of honey in case it was low blood sugar. Poor guy! *L* But hey, that can get serious! Also he is having trouble with his wisdom teeth, do you think that could cause it? At any rate, after thinking about it today, I decided to call the doctor and make an appt. for him. He needs a physical anyway.
I worry too much maybe, but that’s not going to change. Has anyone else heard of or had that? His lips still feel weird today…I just don’t like anything weird like that. Worrisome.
Anyway. Lets see. Brie’s fine. Hanging in there, or I should say the baby’s hanging in there. *w* Chels is going to be gone over the weekend, and hubs and I will be alone, so I’m thinking chances are good she’ll go into labor! *L* My phone is starting to ring off the hook with everyone calling and Brie says hers is too. That’s the way it goes. 🙂 Everyone’s excited and that’s fun too.
Chels is going to her cousins this weekend. She’ll have fun. School is going just fine, she hasn’t even had homework every night. Hubs is working Sat. and I think I’ll go get my nails done. Summer’s over, I don’t like having them in the summer-I break them all off. Maybe I’ll get a pedicure too, what the heck right?
As you can see I have no wildly important or introspective thoughts to share. It’d been a few days so I figured I better let you know I wasn’t busy being a grandma just yet and hadn’t told you. (As IF!) And now, it’s solitaire time.
Maybe NEXT time I write, I’ll be an old Granny! Me or Snowwoman, we’re both waiting and the mom’s to be are about same-ready to go wise!
G’night all!
Hubs should be upset about having so much responsibility it’s causing stress problems. I’m going to fix a chipped finger nail before it splits any further. Thanks for bringing it up!

Poor hubs…I imagine stress is playing a role and since he hasn’t had a physical it’s a good idea to get him to go. I think you’re right, if you’re out of town the baby will be born…Murphy’s other law. 🙂

Dear Old Granny…absolutely get the pedicure. I feel totally decadent when I get them. Poor hubs, I’ve never heard of this but he sure should get it checked out. Make him go to the Dr. *drumming fingers and waiting on Logan* xoxoxox…..

The lip thing does sound a lot like cold sores, which I’m very prone to. Some foods cause them for me, like apples, but stress will do it too. The thing that helps me most is taking L-lysine – LOTS of it if I’m feeling like I’m getting one. Like 4000 mgs or so. But, I also agree he needs to get a checkup! That’s jobs for you – do well and they give you another job on TOP of the first one.

And fingers crossed that you’ll attain granny status this weekend!

Where is that baby?? I keep looking for the chance to officially call you Grandma or Nana or ???? Hubs sounds like he’s a good hard worker and company’s take advantage of that a lot. HUGS!

When you get the B-50’s for the water retention, make your husband take them, too. They help with stress and will keep him from getting the cold sores. That’s how I knew I needed to start taking them again… otherwise, I get horrible sores in my mouth! Tell Brie to relax and enjoy the time she has now… tell her to rest up because those first few weeks after the baby comes are pretty brutal

The more sleep she gets now, the better! And, once the baby is here, tell her to try her best to sleep when the baby sleeps… I hardly ever was able to do it myself, but it really helped when I was able to make myself do it… Hope that the next time I check in that little Logan has made it to the world! 🙂

not yet here either!Hope you will be grandma soon and me! LOL! Hope Hubs sees a doc soon, Is he allergic to anything? Hugs
Warning Comment
Well stress brings lots of weird symptoms so it could just be a combination of everything going on with him – better to go to the Doctor though just to check it out. Glad you keep us updated – I always look at your name on the Favs list & think ‘No entry today – Logan’s been born – she’s busy with him’ followed by ‘No entry today – she’s nothing to report’! Then I wonder which it is!!

sounds like an allergic reaction..the lips. Did he eat anything different? Make that dr’s appt! Any baby yet??????? 😉
