T.G.I.F.

Well that was a busy week. Again. I guess summer is o-ver! Brie’s doc appt. went well, he said she could go any time now. Wouldn’t make a guess though. Well hell, why not? Date and time would be nice, this waiting stuff gets harder all the time, I mean if we just had the DAY her labor would begin you know, we wouldn’t even need the time! *L*

There’s a street dance uptown tonight, hubs and I were going to go, but after we ate, we were too tired! Oy. Old fuddy duddies. We’re going to a wedding tomorrow and have been running all week, it just seemed too much effort. Besides now I feel like I’m on call and must be rested and ready to go on a moments notice! Grandma can’t stagger in after a late night dancing you know. Twould be unseemly. *w*

Chels has had her first week of school and all went well. Except for the bus ride. Buses are all mixed up and changed around from the construction by our house, but I think the bus driver finally has it right after being late the first 2 mornings, sailing right by our house and forgetting to drop Chels off the 3rd night! Oy. Chels was spitting mad she had to walk back to our house and it was “soooo HOT mom!” But school itself seems to be just fine, which is always a blessing for the kids AND the mother!

Tomorrow the guy who plays drums in hubs band is getting married, so after the wedding they are going to play. It’ll be the first time I’ve heard them since they got back together, learned new songs and got a keyboard player. I’m looking forward to it. It’s going to be HOT. Supposed to be 92 tomorrow. Humidity around oh, 300 percent. Just delightful. *groan* The wedding is outdoors. Would a swim suit be just too casual? Ha.

Well hubs and I are off to go rent a movie. Do we know how to have a good time or what?! The video store is right by Bries so I think we’ll stop in and see how she’s doing. Her Braxton hicks are getting stronger every night…every day we think “Maybe today…” *L*
