First Class…To A Point

Pics finally came in!! And here are the results of my plan revealed two entries ago (3/27/09 – “The Day Finally Arrives”) so you might want to read that entry first before continuing here if you’ve not read it or don’t remember it.

And so it was a huge success. Ray (owner/driver – the ZZ Top look-a-like and yes, he talks the way he looks) put them in the cab and drove them to their hotel in town. The next morning, there was indeed a real limousine that picked them up and drove them the 90 miles to New Orleans where they boarded for their honeymoon to Napa Valley. Upon return, my daughter shared with me, “Dad, not only did you find an El Camino, you found the world’s EXPERT on El Caminos. In our fifteen minute drive to the hotel, he told us the one we were in was the 11th he has owned and then he gave us a history of the El Camino. That was special.”

Ray was a really good sport and had as much fun with it as we did. He has requested copies of the pictures and I’ll ensure he gets them.

I love it when a plan over twenty years in the making comes together…perfectly.

RYN: THE Ohio State University is a class act…BUT not THAT classy?! Sheesh! Giving up a win sounds more like a SEC move.

RYN That’s the problem – always looking to the past. That is what UNclassy people do…. sooo beneath us. PS did you hear what they are talking about via ESPN – having the guys shake hands a la little league before game start in college games. Some Michigan nutcase sent in a email read on air and said “Michigan and Ohio State players shaking hands…NOT ON YOUR LIFE” LOL feeling ismututal.
