Five places you want to visit and why
1. i want to visit the grand canyon again.
i was able to see the sun rise over the canyon once. i watched while the sun came into the silent darkness and seeped color and light into a beautiful day. i want to see that again. that is why.
2. fairbanks alaska. i got to see the aurora lights when i was a kid. i don’t have a clue why we were able to see them in the panhandle of texas at a place called hereford texas on a summer night. the night was dark and clear. it was spectacular and my dad talked about it and told us what it was. it was kind of scary and i was afraid. he calmed us right down with his knowledge about it. it was wonderful.
3. great barrier reef. me and elmo have left over bizness to finish. not really….. i would love to get safely ensconced in a diving suit with lots of good air to breathe. i’d like to go and just hang around and just watch. i can get off pretty much the same way if i go to the aquarium at moody gardens. without getting my ass wet. heh
so i guess i could be talked into trading this one out for a trip to india. i want none of the squalor and sadness. i want to be caught up in lore and celebratory happiness of the people and religions. i want to meet with a guru.
4. stone henge. it is very close to a whole country of beautiful and interesting outsides to wander through. little mountains, meadows, roadways and byways and beaches.
5. the place where the last of the sumerian peoples wound up. i’d like to go see one of the last unearthed strongholds they had. it would not take long. it’s hot out there in the desert.
I’d like to visit Sedona. Its not far from me so its a possibility.

Love your list and the gorgeous picture. RYN/ The disowning nephew is very meek and mild. It’s his *itc* wife that is causing the trouble. She has been the #1 troublemaker and pot stirrer in the family since she entered it 25 years ago!

An interesting thing about India is that the people living in squalor seem happier than those living in the affluent west. The first thing I noticed after returning from two years in India was how miserable everyone looked as they rushed around. ~ Hugs ~
