not so good

So after replacing wires on my car last night like a sweet hubby, he decided that it did need the diagnostic.   Kooky and I got up a bit later than I wanted to, but we made it down there and waited for about an hour and a half.   Impatiently, on Kooky’s part.   We brought a ton of things for her to draw with and a journal book though.

The car needs $2400 worth of work.   This is really bad, as I haven’t got that kind of cash in ANY form at this time.   The good thing is that it is still driveable for now and I can fix it when money fallas from the sky.   I might be able to get taxes done really early and have it fixed, but that is about a couple of months away.

I am officially depressed.   That is not good news when I have presents to buy for Kooky right now, but nothing changes the fact I don’t have that money.    I love my car and I have no desire to buy a new one.   I will have the work done and she’ll be fine.  

After that depressing news, Kooky and I went to a local shopping area to check out some ‘dancing fountains’.   They didn’t go to music but had a cool pattern of sprays and a dry ice type of smoke everywhere.   Kooky waas hollering at the top of her lungs with excitement and it was really beautiful.   It was a very snooty tooty center and nowhere I would really shop.   We walked into a couple stores that made me want to redesign my whole life and house and got depressed again.   I tried to stroll through the new Whole Foods, but that was when Miss Tired and Cranky decided to start whining.   All I really saw was the yummy buffet and salad bar I didn’t know they had and I left.   I am home now eating some lunch prior to our hair appointments.  

Anyone want to loan me $2400?   Didn’t think so……
